Dr. Nalukuyi Wanga is a family medicine resident practicing at Kanyama Level One Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia, and is part of the Seed-supported family medicine program at the University of Zambia. Family medicine doctors - rooted in communities and supported by strong primary care teams - are essential to expanding access to care and achieving universal health coverage. It is critical that they are invested in and fully integrated into health systems to help reach UHC by 2030.
