What is needed next for global health architecture reform
We need a global health system that increases access, delivers higher-quality patient care, and better supports health workers operating on the frontlines of every crisis.
And that is why we are deeply invested in making the global health architecture reform process a success.
Because this is our collective opportunity to build a better system.
It is encouraging though that, across the many global health reform initiatives, there is consensus around country leadership and sovereignty.
Yet important questions remain about what this looks like in practice.
And, as our research shows, several major debates remain unresolved - particularly around governance, representation, financing, accountability, and capacity building.
This has to be addressed if the process is to be truly transformative and deliver change for those who lack access to quality care, to save lives.
