YIDA Youth Initiative is a refugee-led organization based in Uganda’s Kyaka II refugee settlement. Founded in 2013 as a small community school, YIDA has grown into a trusted institution providing education, entrepreneurship training, financial inclusion, and livelihood support for refugee and host-community youth. Through its schools, youth-skilling programs, and YIDA Financial Services, the organization is helping young people access quality education, build sustainable livelihoods, and contribute to their communities.
