Meet Alaa Khaled a smallholder farmer in Balqa governorate, growing peppers and vegetables. Through the Grow Economy project, she is learning how to better manage agriculture, covering everything from pre-harvest to post harvest practices. The GrowEconomy consortium, funded by AFD and led by Acted in partnership with Action Against Hunger (ACF), Terre des Hommes (THD), Phenix Centre for Sustainable Development (Phenix), ECO Consult, and the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN), and the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), supports Syrian refugees and vulnerable Jordanians working in the agriculture sector in Jordan.
