On September 25, Bolivia marked a turning point in the defense of girls’ rights. On that day, Law No. 1639 was enacted, prohibiting marriage and unions involving minors. This video captures one of the most significant moments of this process: the result of more than three years of coordinated work alongside Senator Virginia Velazco, Deputy Betty Yañíquez, the Human Rights Community, and other organizations, advocates, lawmakers, and collectives committed to protecting girls.
