Shanti-ben, a street vendor near Delhi's Lotus Temple explains how heatwaves impact her income and health, and how access to potable water, shade and bathroom facilities would help her cope. Shanti-ben is the sole breadwinner caring for her two school-age grandchildren. She is a member of Janpahal, an organization which aims to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for street vendors through collective action. This series of short films, produced by WIEGO alongside Janpahal, examines informal work and the impacts of climate change.
