The final event of the OACPS Research and Innovation Programme took place on 20–21 May 2026 in Brussels, bringing together beneficiaries, policymakers, researchers, innovators, investors and development partners from Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific. Framed within the Global Gateway strategy, the event highlighted the strategic role of research and innovation in sustainable development and international cooperation. Over two days, participants reviewed the programme's achievements, shared lessons learned, showcased innovative solutions and explored opportunities for future collaboration and investment. The event provided a platform for dialogue and networking among stakeholders committed to strengthening research and innovation ecosystems across partner countries.
