James Smith leads the Cyber Lab at Arapahoe Community College in Colorado—a role he landed after studying cybersecurity at the Sturm Collaboration Campus at ACC at the age of 35. A partnership of ACC, the Douglas County School District, and the Colorado State University system, Sturm offers career prep opportunities for students from high school age and beyond. At Jobs for the Future, we see it as a step toward the hybrid institutions we propose in our “Big Blur” vision.
