Youth Voices on Apprenticeship: Insights from JFF’s Youth Council of Changemakers
At JFF, our Next-Generation Apprenticeship for Next-Generation Talent initiative has expanded access to pre-apprenticeship and Registered Apprenticeship programs for young people, ages 16-24. As part of the initiative, we’re learning directly from those closest to the experience. Our Youth Council of Changemakers is helping shape more responsive, effective systems. In this video, hear from a few Council members about their pre-apprentice and apprenticeship experiences:
• Andrew Hoffman, Farm Operations and Data Manager, Bangs Island Mussels
• Brayden Libby, CCTV Operator, Vortex Companies
• Freddie Rollinson, Business Operations Apprentice, Apprenticeships for America
**This project is funded by the U.S Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration as part of the Apprenticeship Building America grant totaling $5,310,000 with $2,003,460 financed from non-federal sources.**
