Jobs for the Future (JFF) and METAL (Metallurgical Engineering Trades Apprenticeship and Learning) hosted a webinar in November 2025 for employers in the metals industry: "Shaping the Future: AI Competencies in Metals Manufacturing Apprenticeships." The conversation explored how to embed AI competencies into quality work-based learning programs, including apprenticeships in metals manufacturing. Attendees heard from experts at the ARM Institute, the nation’s innovation institute for robotics and AI. The institute shared how its proven model for robotics training is evolving to support AI in manufacturing apprenticeships.
