In recent weeks, we have presented how IOM Slovakia, with the support of the Government of Japan, helps people affected by the war in Ukraine. From housing and health care to counter-trafficking prevention and community support – stories of resilience, solidarity, and dignity. Today, we bring it all together in one full video 🎥. 💡 In 2024, Japan contributed over USD 51 million to IOM operations in more than 30 countries, including Ukraine, Sudan, and Myanmar. 🤝 Here in Slovakia, Japan’s partnership with IOM has made it possible to provide housing, health care, protection, and essential assistance to refugees and the communities that welcome them. 🙏 Thank you to the Government of Japan for a partnership that delivers real results – both at home and globally.
