AI expert Karen Hao: "We can absolutely shape AI development to center human values!"

Last night, we were honoured to host a fascinating panel discussion on OpenAI and the global AI race with US journalist and author Karen Hao. In the interview, she discusses the motives of major AI companies, criticizes their highly inefficient use of resources, and suggests ways to positively shape AI development. Our second panelist of the evening, Anita Gohdes from the Hertie School, also explained why monopolization of information poses a significant challenge to our society.
