As a Community Development Committee member in Kassala State, he helps ensure that women, young people, displaced families and people living with disabilities have a voice in local decision-making. Supported by UNICEF through the World Bank-funded THABAT project, Community Development Committees are strengthening links between communities and decision-makers to improve health, education, water and child protection services.
