This video showcases one of the 59 a green business supported through the Ghana Climate Innovation Center (GCIC) as part of GIZ’s Support to the Private and Financial Sector (PFS) Programme. Through incubation support, business coaching, and access to tailored technical and financial pathways, GCIC-supported enterprises are developing innovative solutions that address environmental challenges while creating jobs and sustainable livelihoods.
This is a story of a climate-smart agribusiness in Northern Ghana working to strengthen food security, improve farmer incomes, and promote sustainable agriculture. Based in the Northern Region, the company supports farmers with climate-smart seeds, training in sustainable farming practices, and access to fair markets for their produce, including maize and soybeans.
This initiative forms part of the broader PFS Programme, which between 2023 and 2025 reached over 6,000 MSMEs across Ghana and created or maintained more than 2,000 jobs, supporting inclusive growth and green job creation.
The PFS Programme is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in collaboration with national partners.
