Tetiana with four children lives in their village in Kharkiv region. The stress of daily life for the family goes beyond the direct impact of the war as they also used to struggle with financial and psychological hardships. The family’s wellbeing began to improve thanks to the social support services. Tetiana was able to regain control of her life, develop family budget‑planning skills, improve communication with her teenage children, and secure a job. The local Social Services Centre managed to enhance this social service with the grants support under the UK government's #SPIRIT Programme. Thanks to this initiative, at least 10,000 families with children in 10 regions will receive high quality and effective social support.
