In 2025, the Climate Action Pathways for Island Transport (CAP IT) project introduced a driving license training programme for 200 women, in partnership with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to help bridge the mobility gender gap. This was part of the Pacific Green Transformation Project, funded by the Government of Japan and implemented by UNDP.
