During a recent visit to the bordering town of Al-Qlayaa in South Lebanon, the European Union and Caritas Lebanon reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Lebanon’s health sector. With EU support and in collaboration with the Lebanese Army’s Civil-Military Cooperation Directorate @lebanesearmy_official and the @ministry_of_public_health , Caritas organized a free medical day open to residents across different towns in the region. A team of doctors and health practitioners offered : ✅ 300+ medical consultations ✅ Specialized medical care ✅ Lab tests, health screenings & free medications This initiative is being replicated in towns across Lebanon throughout 2025, as part of the EU’s ongoing support to strengthen essential healthcare services and reach the most vulnerable communities. #EUinLebanon #CaritasLebanon #SouthLebanon #MedicalSupport #CIMIC #HealthForAll خلال زيارة إلى بلدة القليعة الحدودية في جنوب لبنان، جدّد كل من الاتحاد الأوروبي وكاريتاس لبنان التزامهما بـتمكين القطاع الصحي. بدعم من الاتحاد الأوروبي، وبالتعاون مع مديرية التعاون العسكري – المدني في الجيش اللبناني ووزارة الصحة العامة، نظّمت كاريتاس يومًا طبيًا مجاني لسكان بلدات المنطقة. شارك في هذا النشاط فريق من الأطباء والعاملين في المجال الصحي، حيث قدموا: ✅ أكثر من 300 استشارة طبية ✅ رعاية صحية متخصصة ✅ فحوصات مخبرية، وكشوفات صحية، بالإضافة إلى توزيع الأدوية مجانًا هذه المبادرة مستمرة خلال عام 2025 في العديد من المناطق اللبنانية وبدعم الاتحاد الأوروبي لتعزيز خدمات الرعاية الصحية الأولية، والوصول إلى الفئات الأكثر حاجة.
