Three-year-old Socheata lives with her aunty Sarey in a remote community in central Cambodia where water is precious. There’s no access to piped water, so they rely on an unprotected pond. The community has no choice but to use this unsafe water for drinking, washing, and cooking. Socheata is only three. She hasn’t yet read her first book or tied her shoelaces for the first time. But her future is already uncertain.
