Careers in malaria research with Dr Jonathan Kayondo and BioSci Toolkit
During the webinar, Dr Jonathan Kayondo, Principal Investigator for Target Malaria Uganda at the Uganda Virus Research Institute, spoke with Abdulkabir Adenopo about why malaria research offers exciting opportunities for those seeking impactful scientific careers.
Dr Jonathan Kayondo is the Principal Investigator for Target Malaria Uganda and a Senior Research Officer at the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI), where he is also the acting Head of Entomology. Since joining Target Malaria in 2014, he has become a leading figure in vector biology and genetic strategies to combat malaria in Africa.
