Training and capacity building is critical for enhancing youth participation in urban processes. In Indonesia, young people are finding opportunities to engage in issues as diverse as urban planning, waste management or temporary shelter. This video was produced by TongBasuara and Arkom, for an exchange organised in 2025 by the housing justice team at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), as part of the 'Neighbourhoods Fit for Diverse Young People: Civic Media Practices and Urban Claims Making in Nepal and India (YCIV)' project, and facilitated through partners of the Hub for Housing Justice.
