In December 2025, UNDP partnered with Liberia’s National Disaster Management Agency to launch the Preparedness Learning Pathway, a global initiative that builds capacity for early warning, anticipatory action, and effective disaster response. Building on years of support—including an Emergency Operations Center, staff training, and county disaster committees—this initiative will enhance skills, coordination, and resilience nationwide, helping communities better prepare for future shocks.
