IFC celebrates 10 years of EDGE in Peru by recognizing nine EDGE Champions for their commitment to decarbonizing building portfolios, and two Premium Preferred Providers for helping projects design, document, and achieve EDGE certification. The event also marked the Peru launch of the Building Resilience Index (BRI) and featured the panel “Success Stories: EDGE Champion Companies in Peru.” EDGE Champions included companies such as Bélgica Edificaciones, BESCO, BSF Almacenes del Perú, Inmgenio Inmobiliaria, Logistic Properties of the Americas, Los Portales Departamentos Madrid Inmobiliaria, Vitain Inmobiliaria and the BBVA Peru Bank. Premium Preferred Providers: Leaf Global and SUMAC Inc. To date, 6.2 million m² have been EDGE-certified in Peru, driving significant energy and carbon savings. Over 45 companies worldwide have been recognized as EDGE Champions and EDGE Preferred Providers to date.
