This event at the University of Cape Town (UCT) was hosted by the UK-IFC Market Accelerator for Green Construction (MAGC) Research program and the EDGE Green Buildings Team as their research on Green Buildings in South Africa has transitioned from the pilot into the main phase. Our expert speakers focused on the role of EDGE-certified green buildings in South Africa, introduced the global nature of the smart metering studies under the MAGC Research program, and dove into the South Africa study, presenting key findings from the pilot phase and progress of the main phase. The event was moderated by Elaine Reinke, MAGC Research Lead at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
