Clean energy is now flowing across Pentecost Island

On the remote island of Pentecost in Vanuatu, the three pico-hydro power stations built under the VGET project phase 1 with funding from Japan are now complete. Take a tour through this video around Waterfall, Melsisi and Larimaat to observe these infrastuctures and realize the minimal impact to the beautiful environment in Pentecost Island. Built using the island’s own water resources, these small but powerful infrastructures are now bringing clean, reliable electricity to 26 settlements for the very first time.
