What's it like growing up and living here?
These are the stories of young people who grew up in oil-dependent regions: Campeche, Tabasco, and Veracruz. Their communities were the engine of Mexico for decades. But the world is moving toward phasing out fossil fuels, and today these regions are already suffering the consequences: shrinking economies, disappearing jobs, and deepening socio-environmental damage. They will bear the weight of the decisions made now.
