Moving the ionosonde, AKA The Beastie, at Port Lockroy
Conservation carpenters Jo and Dan have deconstructed the Beastie, the large ionosonde used for ionospheric research in the 1950s and 60s.
Dan researched its original construction to safely dismantle and move it. Upon reassembly, they will ensure it's properly supported with its load transferred to the ground.
