What does it take to develop new antibiotics and ensure they reach the patients who need them most? In 2025, GARDP reached important milestones in the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR), including the US FDA approval of zoliflodacin, the first new treatment developed solely for gonorrhoea in decades. We also advanced our pipeline of treatments for drug-resistant infections, expanded the NeoSep1 clinical trial for newborns with sepsis, and launched our first country introduction and stewardship projects.
