Panel 2 addressed how humanitarian organisations are navigating the suspension of US aid funding, which served as a major disruptor for the humanitarian system. An overall decrease of aid funding increases the pressure of aid organisations to prioritise while public funding is becoming more pronouncedly transactional or politicised. Narratives around aid tap increasingly into securitisation debates and/or are shaped by them. How do aid organisations react to these trends? How do they navigate uncertainty and reshape their organisations to be future-ready?
