Engaging for Impact: Sensitizing Communities on Advanced HIV Disease
The THRIVE project, funded by Unitaid and led by CHAI in collaboration with AFROCAB and PENTA, supports country-led strategies for building resilient systems for managing Advanced HIV Disease (AHD). In this video, Peter Aknoyera, a Medical Officer at Kisenyi Health Centre IV, describes the significant role that the THRIVE project’s community sensitization activities play in bringing life-saving care to children with AHD. To learn more about the THRIVE project and how countries and communities are building resilient systems amidst landscape shifts, join us at the THRIVE Satellite at IAS on July 14th, 2025 at 9:30am in Room MH3 and visit the THRIVE project website: https://www.thriveinfo.org
