Addressing postpartum hemorrhage with E MOTIVE training in Uganda

CHAI and Uganda’s Ministry of Health are working together so that every birth is a safe birth.

Through a phased training plan, Uganda has trained over 500 providers, reaching 125 facilities with heat stable carbetocin and the E-MOTIVE bundle, delivering lifesaving care to prevent and manage postpartum hemorrhage.
