Does an LNG Import Terminal really stack up? Our Energy Campaign Volunteer Jeanne unpacks what our Finance Minister might have referred to (spoiler: we're not sure). We (and dozens of other orgs and businesses) believe that investment in LNG would waste hundreds of millions of taxpayers' money, lock customers into a more expensive energy future, increase exposure to international price shocks and make it increasingly challenging to meet carbon targets. Rather than throwing millions at this import terminal, we are asking the government to work on a long-term Energy Strategy.
