ISA celebrates the mentees of S.H.E. - See Her Exceed

Launched in 2023 under ISA’s Women in Deep-Sea Research (WIDSR) Project, the S.H.E. Programme is a capacity-building initiative designed to empower women scientists from developing States working in deep-sea research, exemplifying ISA’s commitment to inclusion, equity, and gender-responsive science.

Six outstanding women from Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia, and Morocco completed research and leadership development mentorship training.
