Social protection reaches hundreds of millions of people worldwide, yet its potential to improve nutrition remains underutilized. This session will explore how governments, with support from the World Bank and the World Food Programme (WFP), are redesigning social protection systems to deliver nutrition outcomes - improving diet quality, service utilization, and strengthening local food systems. Country experiences from Guatemala and Pakistan will offer practical lessons for scaling impact.
