Women and girls in the Jordan Valley face rising risks of gender-based violence, driven by harmful norms and challenging social, political, and economic conditions. With support from the Cooperació Generalitat de Catalunya and EU Aid and Crisis Response, UNFPA and the Palestinian Counseling Center established safe spaces providing gender-based violence prevention and response services, including psychosocial support and case management. These spaces offer safety and a path to recovery and empowerment.
