Climate change through the eyes of a girl in Pakistan | UNICEF
In Pakistan, 14‑year‑old Sobh takes us for a walk to show how climate change is changing her village, from heavy rains flooding schools to damaged water sources. “Together we can protect our planet”, she says. Sobh shares how UNICEF is helping her community and how they’re learning to adapt by collecting rainwater, using solar energy, planting trees and installing safe drinking water taps. At school, children are learning not only about the challenges climate change brings, but also thinking about solutions.

UNICEF, the United Nations agency for children, works to protect the rights of every child, everywhere, especially the most disadvantaged children and in the toughest places to reach.
Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive, and fulfil their potential.
Before, during, and after humanitarian emergencies, UNICEF is on the ground, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families. Impartial, non-political, and neutral, our focus is protecting every child and safeguarding their lives and futures.
