Even rats need sunscreen! ☀️

Our HeroRATs are nocturnal. To minimize the effect of the sun, we work with them in the cool early hours of the morning, and apply sunscreen to their ears and tails (that have no fur). They are off in the shade to nap before the heat of the day kicks in.
