In disaster zones, search and rescue teams sometimes reach a point where current search methods aren't enough. That’s where APOPO’s #RescueRATs come in. For the past five years, #APOPO has been training African giant pouched rats to help locate survivors trapped under rubble- a new, innovative technique.
