Oure Cassoni is currently hosting more than 100.000 Sudanese #refugees. That’s a fraction of 1.5 million Sudanese refugees that are already in #Chad. As conflict has escalated over the past weeks in El Fasher, #Sudan. Over 6,000 new refugees have arrived in Oure Cassoni since 24 October 2025 living now in dire conditions. UNICEF and partners are on the ground supporting the efforts of the Government of Chad to assist these refugees. However, more support is urgently needed to meet the scale of the needs.
