The Farmers Business School (FBS) empowers smallholder vegetable farmers in Nepal to improve production, income, and sustainability. Through a five-month, hands-on program, farmers learn correct planting techniques, crop calendars, climate-smart practices, and market-oriented planning. Before FBS, many farmers planted seeds incorrectly, lacked knowledge of which crops to grow, and struggled with marketing and business management. Training, demonstration plots, and practical sessions helped farmers manage their farms as businesses, improve productivity, access better markets, and make household life easier. FBS strengthens livelihoods while promoting sustainable, environmentally responsible farming.
