Bridging Perspectives in Aceh: A Multi-Stakeholder Forum on NDPE in the Palm Oil Sector

As global demand for sustainable palm oil grows and regulations like the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) raise the bar, what does real implementation look like on the ground? This video takes you to Aceh, Indonesia, where stakeholders gathered to learn how NDPE commitments are being turned into action. From bridging gaps in awareness at the district level to connecting actors across the supply chain, from smallholders to global buyers, government, and civil society, Aceh NDPE Business Forum highlights that sustainability is not only shaped in boardrooms, but built locally. Through collaboration, shared responsibility, and a focus on people, forests, and livelihoods, real progress is being made. Through collaboration, shared responsibility, and a focus on people, forests, and livelihoods, this effort calls for stronger local NDPE implementation and the sharing of lessons to enable wider replication.
