In Uganda's Mubende District, small-scale farmers are taking climate action into their own hands. Working with Farm Radio International, they implement nature-based solutions — restoring ecosystems, protecting biodiversity, and strengthening local resilience to climate change. Through collaboration, shared learning, and community-led storytelling, these farmers are not only protecting their land and livelihoods, but also raising awareness of climate solutions that are practical, powerful, and rooted in local knowledge. This documentary was produced by John McGill, Doreen Ainembabazi, and Brenda Mugwisagye Murangi. The Nature-Based Solutions Project is funded with support from Global Affairs Canada.
