Turning Policy into Practice: Building a Just Transition Ecosystem in Southeast Asia

A coordinated approach to developing effective ‘ecosystems’ is the key to just transitions to the clean energy economy. Organization and partnerships at the community, national, and regional levels are needed in Southeast Asia to ensure upskilling and reskilling efforts are aligned with market needs and other trends, and that everyone has access to opportunities. This webinar showcased solutions from across Southeast Asia and globally in the areas of: Cross-ministry collaborations Working with TVETs and academia on green skilling Engaging industry and employers Leveraging regional partnerships Fostering equity and quality pathways The webinar also included a special preview of the upcoming Toolkit, Enhancing Livelihoods and Creating Workforce Readiness for Clean Energy and Sustainable Transformations in Southeast Asia, to be published by CEM and Tara Foundation at CEM17 in October.
