On 21 April 2026, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on hazardous substances and wastes, Marcos A. Orellana, participated in a discussion on the theme “Ensuring Indigenous Peoples’ health, including in the context of conflict” which was organized during the 25th session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York.
