On 15 June 2026, the United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, Awa Dabo, presented the oral update of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, as requested in Human Rights Council Resolution 61/1, on the human rights consequences resulting from the unprovoked attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran against Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.
