On 17 February 2026, Alena Douhan, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the negative impact of 
 unilateral coercive measures on the enjoyment of human rights, addressed the 34th session of the Advisory Committee of the Human Rights Council.

The Special Rapporteur addressed the issue of the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on the right to health of individuals in vulnerable situations.
