On 23 February, Pascale Allotey, Director of the Department of Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health and Ageing, including the Special Programme in Human Reproduction at the World Health Organization, spoke at the Human Rights Council's Annual High-Level Panel Discussion on Human Rights Mainstreaming. The theme of the panel held at the Council's 61st session was "The role of new and emerging digital technologies in preventing and eliminating female genital mutilation." @who
