UN: lasting peace cannot be built on military expenditure alone

On 19 May 2026, C. Mélanie Régimbal, Chief of the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs’ Geneva Office, participated in an interactive dialogue on "the rights to development, to peace and disarmament."

The interactive dialogue formed part of the 27th session of the UN Intergovernmental Working Group on the Right to Development which is held at the United Nations Office at Geneva from 18 to 21 May 2026.
