On 27 April 2026, Mxolisi Nkosi, the Chair-Rapporteur of the United Nations open-ended intergovernmental working group to elaborate the content of an international regulatory framework, without prejudging the nature thereof, relating to the activities of private military and security companies, spoke at the opening of the 7th session of the intergovernmental working group in Geneva.
