Official Visit to the ASEAN Secretariat by H.E. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva

On 24 October 2025, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, had the honor to welcome President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, H.E. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, to the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. This historic visit, the first of its kind by a Brazilian Head of State, underscored the growing significance of ASEAN–Brazil Sectoral Dialogue Relations, which was established in 2022.
