The ASEAN Minerals Investment Forum (AMVest) 2025, held back-to-back with the 10th ASEAN Ministers Meeting on Minerals (AMMin), served as ASEAN’s flagship platform to promote mineral investment, showcase regional opportunities, and strengthen engagement between governments, businesses, and strategic partners. Convened over two days, AMVest 2025 brought together more than 300 participants, including government officials, international organisations, business leaders, and industry practitioners. The Forum featured nine thematic sessions covering both upstream and downstream aspects of the minerals value chain, fostering in-depth discussions on sustainable and competitive minerals development in the region. The Forum was further strengthened by the launch of the AMVest Community Platform—a centralised digital hub under the ASEAN Minerals Information System (AMIS) – with interactive features such as business-matching tools. The platform is designed to enable continuous knowledge exchange, networking, and policy dialogue beyond the Forum. AMVest 2025 also featured the 4th ASEAN Minerals Awards (AMA) Awarding Ceremony, held during the AMVest Gala Dinner, recognising best practices and excellence in the minerals industry across ASEAN. Looking ahead, AMVest will be institutionalised as an annual event, reinforcing ASEAN’s position as a competitive minerals investment hub, expanding investor networks, and deepening collaboration with partners at the regional and global levels.
